Cetraxal Ear Drops

Available by prescription only, Cetraxal® (ciprofloxacin ear drops) is an antibiotic drug used to treat otitis externa (outer ear infections, also known as "swimmer's ear"). It comes in the form of ear drops and is approved for use in adults and children as young as one year old. The recommended dosage is the same for everyone: one single-use container in the infected ear twice daily for seven days. The doses should be given about 12 hours apart.
