Overdose Information

As with any medication, it is possible to use too much Cetraxal. However, the exact effects of an overdose are unknown. If you or someone else may have taken an overdose of this medication, seek immediate medical attention.

What Should I Do If I Forget a Dose of Cetraxal?

If you forget a dose, simply use it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed, and continue with your regular schedule. Do not use a double dose.
 

How Should Cetraxal Be Stored?

Cetraxal should be stored at room temperature. The containers should be kept in their foil pouch until you are ready to use them to protect them from light. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children and pets.
 

Available Strengths

This medication is only available in one strength -- Cetraxal 0.2% solution. The medication comes in a box with 12 single-use containers, which should be enough to treat an infection in one ear for seven days. Each single-use container contains the equivalent of 0.5 mg of ciprofloxacin in 0.25 mL of solution.
