Safety Precautions With Cipro HC
Dosing InformationThere is only one standard recommended dose of Cipro HC. As always, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.

Are There Side Effects?Just like any medicine, Cipro HC may cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses the drug will experience problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well.
If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious reactions are less common. The most common side effect of Cipro HC is a headache.

Drug Interactions With Cipro HCIn general, Cipro HC is unlikely to react with other medications (see Cipro HC Drug Interactions).
Important Information for Your Healthcare ProviderYou should talk with your healthcare provider prior to using Cipro HC if you have:
- A hole in your eardrum (perforated eardrum) or have ear tubes
- Any allergies, including to medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives.
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are:
- Pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant (see Cipro HC and Pregnancy)
- Breastfeeding (see Cipro HC and Breastfeeding).
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
