Dosing for Ciprodex Drops

If you have a bacterial ear infection, your healthcare provider may recommend Ciprodex® (ciprofloxacin/dexamethasone) ear drops. Dosing for this prescription medication is the same for everyone, regardless of whether it is used by adults or children, or whether it is used for a middle or outer ear infection.

This standard Ciprodex dosage is four drops applied into the infected ear twice daily for seven days. Make sure to finish the entire course of this medicine. Stopping it too early may cause your infection to return or lead to antibiotic resistance.
