Recovery From Vestibular Schwannoma Surgery: Leaving the Hospital

When you leave the hospital, you will receive instructions for taking care of your body after the vestibular schwannoma surgery. You will also receive specific instructions such as those concerning:
 
  • Driving
  • Activity levels
  • Medication.
 
Your healthcare providers will also go over any symptoms that require immediate medical attention.
 
The first follow-up visit with your doctor will be approximately one to four weeks after you leave the hospital. You should have scheduled periodic follow-up visits with your doctor until you have fully recovered.
